FAQs
What is "Inositol"?
The word "Inositol" (pronounced "In - noss - itol") comes from the Greek word that means "muscle sugar". Inositol is found in the cell membranes of nearly all living cells of nearly all plants and animals on Earth.
Inositol is a form of Vitamin B, which, like all forms of the vitamin, allows the body to convert carbohydrates into fuel that provides cells with energy. It ensures proper brain, nerve and muscle function, and improves blood circulation by playing a role in inhibiting clot formation, as well as helping to keep blood vessels soft and flexible.
Inositol is produced in very small amounts in the human body, but adequate quantities need to be consumed in the diet and by supplementation. Some excellent dietary sources of Inositol include liver, milk, Kidney & Lima beans, cantaloupe and citrus fruits.
Can RevUp help me loose weight?
The science behind weight loss and RevUp has mostly to do with the caffeine content of RevUp's fine-balanced formula. Caffeine has been shown to help the body mobilize fat stores, making them available for conversion to energy during exercises. This will benefit long distance athletes by preserving precious reserves of glycogen, the body's preferred fuel for activity. Try taking 2 capsules of RevUp about 30 minutes before exercise, and another 2 after 60 to 90 minutes into exercising. Note that you need to exercise to obtain any benefit from this, so-called, glycogen sparing method of endurance boosting. RevUp can also help with the perception of effort during excercise, making the athlete feel more inclined to excercise longer.
