Start out by getting a regular walking routine going. Set out in the morning for a walk in your neighborhood. It does not have to be fast, although the quicker you walk the more calories you will burn, and try to walk for at least 30 minutes.
Build this up every day or every second day until you are walking for at least an hour and a quarter at around 15 minutes per mile. This way you'll cover about 5 miles and should burn 800 or more calories (depending on your size, gender and other factors). This time out will also help to clear you head, relieve stress and set you up with a positive dispostion.
RevUp can help get you motivated in the mornings and keep you active during the day. Try RevUp here.
